AMELIA CHONG

Amelia is an international award-winning industrial designer who believes in and embodies the wider perspective. She was born in Hong Kong and educated in Singapore and Sweden. She has designed for numerous leading corporations in Asia and Europe, including Hewlett-Packard in Singapore, Electrolux in Italy, and IKEA in Sweden. Her artistic process is reflective, even intellectual. She relies on the powers of observation when producing her harmonious, vibrantly designed solutions and her “cross-pollination” approach allows her to explore a wide range of production techniques, graphics, materials and colour. She is highly trend sensitive, and her unique designs always include an element of surprise.

HARALD HYNELL

Harald is Bosign’s founding designer. His passion for form, construction, material, and innovative product solutions are key to the Bosign’s design philosophy. He finds his inspiration in the physical and emotional aspects of design; how a product feels in your hands or still impacts you after several years’ use are key to his sculptural and holistic approach. He has designed several groundbreaking products for Bosign, including the Surfpillow and the Laptray. His fascination with product design is infectious and he tackles design with humility. Nothing pleases him more than walking into a store and picking up a product that provides a brilliantly simple solution, is elegantly designed and constructed to last.

Harald was raised and educated in Sweden and the United States. His professional experience covers several countries, fields and disciplines. In addition to product design, he has worked within mechanical engineering, communication, branding and marketing at international corporations such as Ericsson and Hewlett-Packard.

JONATHAN MALTZ

Jonathan is an industrial designer with an impressive track record in interior, exterior, furniture, lighting, lifestyle, graphic and packaging design. Natural and constructed environments, contemporary art and the rich heritage of the 1960’s inspire him. He is particularly drawn to simplicity and minimalism. His designs are iconic, sleek and memorable. Jonathan finds his functional solutions by deconstructing and rebuilding his initial ideas until he finds the balanced, high impact answer he is looking for.

Jonathan was born in England but lived in Israel most of his life. He graduated from the Bezalel Academy for Art and Design in Jerusalem in 2005 before curiosity and a passion for travel and life led him to Sweden. Jonathan has designed for Bosign since 2009 and participated numerous exhibitions throughout Europe, including most recently, DAS Young European Designers in Rome in 2010 and imm in Cologne in 2009.
